Celebrated musician Otile Brown has finally broken his silence after some of his songs were deleted from YouTube.

Sharing a press release, the musician said that they were not given reasons why the songs were removed from his YouTube page.

He also assured his fans that his legal teams had talks with YouTube who confirmed that they are working on restoring the songs on YouTube.

His statement read;

“We cannot get into the specific reasons that led to the deletion but we would like to assure you that we took up the issue with our legal team, partners and with YouTube/Google who confirmed that there had been an issue but assured us that they are working to resolve, restore and reinstate the content.”

In the statement Otile apologized to his fans and urged them to support his other songs as they work to restore the deleted songs.

“We wish to extend our sincere apologies for the inconvenience occasioned by this unprecedented set back and most importantly thank you all for the support as we work hard to resolve this issue,” read part of the statement.

His manager during an interview said that they already know who is behind the deletion of songs but have already contacted their legal team.

“Basically what it means is this is somebody who has access to the account. And for us, we already know who that culprit is… We want to make sure that as soon as this is handled, nobody will ever repeat such a thing,” said the manager.

Otile’s hit songs Dusuma, Aiyana, Watoto na Pombe, Chaguo La Moyo with over 3 million views are among the songs deleted from YouTube.
