82

The MP for Iramba East Francis Isack Mtinga raised a storm in the Tanzanian Parliament accusing telecommunication companies of stealing from Tanzanians in their provision of services.

He termed it an outright theft from the telcos as most of their services expire before the given dates.Mtinga sought to have the rules reversed.

The Information Chief maintained that it was a case of misunderstanding and warned Parliament not be used in fighting an investment opportunity of such magnitude.

The tug of war seemed not to end as both parties traded counter accusations. We lie in wait for an amicable solution in this contentious issue.
