A more determined approach was seen by top order BSC batsmen as they were put in to bat by PCC, to which they played their role in securing the highest total in this year’s NIC CUP.

Kenyan star Collins Obuya top scored with 118runs helped BSC reach 228/8,but not before his team lost  4 wickets in the last over with  Arslan 4/18 claiming their scalps.

A horrendous start to the chase as both opening batsmen of PCC did not trouble the scorer.

Only noticeable efforts were by Affan 43runs and Asif 42runs as PCC succumbed to the huge total,  only managing 134 all out. Mohammed Badal spell of 4/25 slowed the game to victory. BSC won by 94runs.

GAME 24 – MOMBASA HEAT CRICKET CLUB Vs MOMBASA SIMBA SPORTS CLUB 

fielding a young inexperienced though talented side, Simba Struggled to get going when Heats put them in to bat.

Only hard hitting Manoj Patel 32runs stood out as his side were mercilessly attacked by experienced fast and spin bowling, only  managing 90runs all out.

For the Heats, Kenyan star Jimmy Kamande 5/9 with the ball and top scoring with 38runs once again showed that he still has what it takes as he guided his team to victory. MH won by 7wickets.
