Former colleagues of fallen actor Charles Bukeko popularly known as Papa Shirandula over the weekend visited his resting place in Funyula, Busia County.
The actors, Jacky Vike (Awinja), Jacky Nyaminde (Wilbroda) and Ken Gichoya (Njoro) among others travelled together to pay homage to the fallen actor.
On Friday, Awinja had shared a photo of the group travelling together to Funyula.
“Enroute, back to where we laid @charlesbukeko AKA #PapaShirandula our Legend/Mentor/Father/Family” she wrote
She later shared that she was yet to come to terms with the actor’s death.
“Ango aendelee kulala kwa Amani (may uncle continue resting in peace), still hard to believe but a day at a time, I miss him so much, we do, it pains me thinking about it, but Mungu mbele, ni njia yetu wote, we came back to celebrate him and we shall be back again and again,” wrote Awinja
Taking to Instagram, actor Njoro said visiting his mentor’s resting place had revived his grief.
“My Brother/mentor still resting peacefully, feeling full filled coming back here, Familia imefurahi sana, ni uchungu lakini yote ya Mungu,imefufua kidonda lakini.” He wrote
Awinja also introduced netizens to the late Bukeko’s younger brother Clement.
“With Papa’s younger Brother Clement” she wrote
