Pastor Appeals For Justice After Church Is Vandalized Equipment Worth Ksh 1 Million Stolen
A pastor in Nairobi’s Kayole area is appealing for justice from the office of the Inspector General after his church was vandalized and equipment stolen by a private developer.
Pastor Samuel Waweru of Mega Church Fellowship says the private developer by the name Dishon Mwangi destroyed his church and made away with goods worth 1 Million shillings.
Waweru says that he reported the matter to the Kayole Police Station and nothing has happened more than one year since the incident.
Waweru says the church land that the private developer is claiming ownership for was donated to the church by a lady named Cecelia Wangui Gachoka.
Wangui was allegedly given the land in 1994 by the Nairobi City Council only for Mwangi to come claim it more than 20 years later.
