Popular Grammy-nominated British Reggae musician Pato Banton is in Kenya where he is set to have a two-week long tour of various cities in the country.
The ‘Go Pato’ hitmaker, taking to his Facebook account, announced the June 26th to July 10th visit, during which he is slated to perform at a number of shows.
Pato landed in Nairobi on 26th June in the company of his wife Antoinette Rootsdawtah.
According to his schedule, he was set to have an educational tour in Nairobi today followed by a community outreach tomorrow.
The reggae star is set to spend his final weekend in Mombasa and Kwale County respectively, then leave the country for the USA on 10th July.
The tour comes after Pato Banton had, in December 2022, posted on social media; “I’m dreaming of doing a concert in Kenya!”
Kenyans took to the comment section to express excitement over the upcoming concert.
