Renowned British Reggae musician Pato Banton has bid the country farewell this is after his two-week long tour of various cities in the country came to a close.
In a statement on his social media pages, the Grammy-nominated artist thanked his Kenyan fans for a worthwhile experience adding that he and his team enjoyed a warm reception from the people.
“Well, Asante Sana Kenya! We had a great experience for two weeks seeing so many places, meeting so many fans, talking with so many media personalities and learning so much about the Kenyan Culture.”

From the rest of his statement, it is quite clear the trip will leave an indelible mark on the ‘Go Pato’ hitmaker since he expressed that they will be heading home a happy lot with smiles on their faces.

Pato landed in Nairobi on 26th June in the company of his wife Antoinette Rootsdawtah.
According to his schedule, he had an educational tour in Nairobi on 27th June, followed by a community outreach on 28th June.
The reggae star spent his final weekend in Mombasa and Kwale County respectively, then left the country for the USA on 10th July.
