Peter Okoye responds after being accused of having an affair with Zari

Former P-square member Peter Okoye has finally broken his silence regarding Diamond’s accusations that he had an affair with Zari Hassan.

The one half of P-square was on an interview in his home country when he was asked about the affair.

Peter denied the allegations saying that Diamond was very stupid to make such allegations.

“To be honest with you, I do not know what they [Diamond and Zari] are talking about. I can never, and would never say anything. Please, I have a new single [‘One More Night’ featuring Niniola], and I do not want to get distracted. I do not want to comment on Diamond’s allegations. In fact, it is stupid [of him to say what he said,” Peter Okoye told Cool FM show hosts.

Diamond Platnumz made headlines this week after claiming he found some text messages on Zari’s phone which indicated she was cheating on him with Peter.

Diamond also accused Zari of sleeping around with her then gym trainer, Tumise.

Zari has since denied the allegations saying the bongo crooner is out to tarnish her image.
