Kigen got engaged to fiance Rebecca Chepchumba at a traditional ceremony filled with close family members and friends.

The only politician spotted at the event was Zipporah Kitony and Gideon’s brother, former Rongai MP.

In attendance was Gideon’s beautiful wife Zahra Moi who was dressed in an matching Ankara outfit with her husband.

Photos online show Kigen draped in a traditional attire, sitting on a stool, holding a spear and a shield in a symbol of tradition.

He then changes and wears a matching outfit with his fiance Chepchumba.

Gideon congratulated his son on social media wishing him all the best.

“I am proud of my son Kigen Moi for making a monumental stride in this life by seeking Rebecca Chepchumba’s hand in marriage. Indeed, this engagement is a beautiful social and spiritual venture ordained by God to ensure companionship and continuity. As they begin formalizing their union today in Kericho County, I pray that God’s grace, guidance and blessings be always upon them,” he said.

He also showered his wife Zahra with praise for ensuring that their son’s engagement ceremony is a success.
