Police today allowed High Rise residents in Langata Sub County to kill a notorious thug via mob justice.
Sources say the police directed the angry mob kill the thug, leave the body for them to carry. The gang of three, two men and a lady had just robbed a victim using a toy gun.
The notorious gang

It is a three-member gang, two men and a lady and have been notorious around High Rise in Langata Sub County.

According to the sources the thug had once survived death together with his girlfriend.
In today’s ordeal, they used a toy gun to threaten a resident, took a phone, keys and money.
“I had gone to a shop and on my way a lady appeared. They beat me with a bowl, squeezed my neck then the lady took my phone, money and keys from my pockets. They ran away but I managed to hold on to the lady. After a while I saw one of the men coming and I raised an alarm, and the mob attacked!”
Police direct the mob to kill the thug.
According to the victim, the notorious thug was left in a stable condition by a mob.
When police arrived in Subaru, they advised the mob to finish what they had started to the pleasure of the mob and echoed by area police officers.
“He was breathing but when the first police arrived in a Subaru, they told us to finish what we had started.” The victim said.

Was death calling?
The thug who they did not identify by name had escaped death mid this year after being rescued by police from an angry mob. He was taken to Kenyatta hospital under intensive care, but latter escaped only to return to old ways.
