Police arrest Nairobi’s notorious drug traffickers, over Ksh. 11 Million Bhang
Police have arrested a notorious drug trafficker who has allegedly been operating with impunity in Nairobi.
Tom Ouma Aero was arrested with his two associates Paul Ochieng Otieno and Stephen Wandera Barasa on Sunday by a combined team of special detectives from his hideout in Utawala.
Police say Aero’s arrest is in connection with seizure of 368.5 Kilograms of bhang valued at Ksh. 11 Million.
“His arrest was in connection with the seizure of 368.5 kilograms of cannabis sativa valued at over Ksh 11 million from motor vehicle Reg. No KCQ 741V that was intercepted along Nakuru – Nairobi Highway on 14th August, 2020,” said the DCI.
Police say that the suspect is also believed to sponsor gangs in Korogocho, Huruma and Dandora to protect his business of drug trafficking.
The three are in custody awaiting arraignment on Monday.
