An illegal Technical Vocation Training College was on Tuesday shut down by government in Nairobi’s Eastleigh area.
Technical And Vocational Authority Officials say that the institution was allegedly operating in the country illegally.
The authority’s Director General Kipkurui Lagat says that most of the students in the college were suspected to be foreigners as they had no formal identification documents as some had expired visas.
Lagat says that they could not also communicate in English or Kiswahili.
TVET Authority conducted the raid with the assistance of GSU and DCI officials.
The 43 suspects were taken to the Pangani Police Station.
