Police Arrest Suspect Linked To Brutal Killing Of Ohangla Artist’s Manager

Police in Kisumu have arrested one suspect in connection with the killing of Ohangla Artist Emma Jalamo’s manager.

Kisumu Central OCPD Antony Maina says that Fred Okola was arrested for allegedly Clement Ochola and injuring two other people.

Ochola aged 34 was stabbed to death on Monday at 4 am by Okola who was in a gang of other thugs at a local joint in Kondele, Kisumu County.

Maina says that three armed men forcefully entered the bar and restaurant where an Ohangla artist was performing and stabbed the two.

“At around 4am in the morning, an individual known as Fred Okola approached the club with a knife and demanded access into the bar. Upon being denied the opportunity, by the officers on duty, he resorted to calling other two accomplices and the three forced their way in,” said Maina.

Maina told Ghetto Radio that the two were rushed to the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral hospital (JOOTRH) where Ochola succumbed to the injuries while his counterpart was treated and discharged and is in a stable condition.

He further says efforts to nab the other remaining assailants are ongoing, requesting the member of the public to aid them in locating them.

“We have arrested one of the assailant who was also injured. He is receiving treatment in one of the city hospitals under police guard. We shall present him to court in due course,” he said.
