Police Officers In The Brutal Police Attack Identified
The National Police Service Commission has released the names of three police officers caught on camera brutally assaulting JKUAT students.
The Commission however failed to reveal the name of the forth officer citing poor camera angle.
According to the commission chairman Eliud Kinuthia, the officers identified are constables Kibet Chemipei, Boniface Muthama and George Wathania.
“Identification of the fourth officer is taking longer because of the angle of the footage. We need to be sure that we are identifying the right person,” said Kinuthia.
Inspector General Of Police Hillary Mutyambai on Tuesday announced that the four officers have been interdicted.
The four were filmed brutally beating a helpless JKUAT student who had been protesting against rising rate of insecurity in the area.
