Police in Ruai have made a major breakthrough by arresting a bhang supplier located in a residential house in Kamulu area ngundu farm.

While confirming the incident the OCPD Ruai Patricia Yegon said it netting the over 12 sacks of bhang was was an effort between residents and police.

Residents Said they had seen some fishy dealings in a maize plantation in Kamulu makadara Area when they entered and found five and half sacks.

But when they insisted the police accessed a self contained One bedroom unfinished house and got the other consignment of processed and unprocessed bhang ready to head the market.

The land lord was arrested while one suspect escaped but police recovered several materials used for packaging.

Govt talks tough on drugs

This comes a week after police continue to hit hard on drugs as per government directive which is causing a generation to perish.

The ocpd assured Ruai residents that he Will keep secrets of the information they Will give as they need to join hands to secure a generation by fighting narcotics in the society
