The power black-out in City Hall and other county government offices in Nairobi continues with no amicable solution reached between the Kenya Power company and Nairobi city county government.
County secretary Perter Kariuki and Kenya power officials today held a day long meeting to unlock the stalemate between the two institutions but the talks did not bear any fruit.
Speaking with jouranlists Kariuki proposes debt swap and formation of taskforce to audit the alleged debts owed by both parties before setlling all debts.
Meanwhile operations at city hall have been halted with Kenya Power maintaing that governor Sonko must pay the 748 millions shillings debt.
Affected places are the level 4 hospitals,City Hall Annex and county street lights.
