The Premier League manager of the Month is an association football award that recognizes the best adjudged premier league manager each month of the season.
The list of nominee for August’s manager of the month has been revealed
Premier League fans will have until Monday 11th Sep to for their favorite manager.
On the nominees shortlist are:
- Mikel Arteta, (Arsenal)
- Pep Guardiola, (Manchester city)
- Jurgen Klopp( Liverpool)
- David Moyes ( Westham United )
- Ange Postecoglou.( Tottenham)
All these five managers are the managers of the teams in the top five places in the Premier League.
Currently ,Arsenal, Liverpool, West Ham and Tottenham have 10 points with Mancity leading with 12points.
Arsenal
Arsenal is in 5th place in the English competition. Arteta’s side are unbeaten, with three wins against Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United and just one draw at home to Fulham in the London derby.

Liverpool
At the beginning of the season , the team went on a draw against Chelsea away from home but since then, the Reds have gone on a run of three consecutive wins against Bournemouth, Newcastle and Aston Villa.
Tottenham
Postecoglou’s Tottenham are in 2nd place. Spurs have had just one draw on the first Premier League matchday and then they have managed 3 wins against Manchester United, Bournemouth and Burnley.

Manchester City
Manchester City have won four out of four matches. Pep Guardiola’s side have beaten Burnley, Newcastle United, Sheffield Wednesday and Fulham.
Westham
West Ham United started the Premier League with an away draw against Bournemouth and then the Hammers have had three wins in the following games against Chelsea, Brighton and Luton Town.
