Meet Prezzy B born Brandon Kizugu from Vihiga County who’s determined to take over the musical scene with his fusion of Chakacha and Urban tunes.
Musical Journey
After clearing school in Western Kenya, Prezzy B moved to Nairobi to eke out a living.
He settled at Githurai 45, this was around 2010.
Like any other young men, he had to hustle hear and there to make it ends meet.
He had also been bitten by a musical bug but didn’t know how to begin.
However, lady luck came his way when he bumped into a Rwandese music producer, Lampard of LMC Record.
It’s Lampard who took him through the art of music.

Still, it’s from this stable that he recorded his first ever song dubbed 20/59 a dancehall tune.
“Nilianza na producer mmoja kutoka pale Githurai 44 side za Mirema anaitwa Lampard from Rwanda, yeye ndio alinifundisha mziki coz sikuwa najua mambo ya mziki sana but alikuwa mkarimu sana wakusaidia wasanii upcoming so nilipenda sana coz alinionyesha njia na studio yake ilikuwa inaitwa LMC Record ambayo nilirekodia ngoma yangu ya kwanza ilikuwa inaitwa 20/59 ilikua aina ya dancehall” he stated partly.
Kicking off strongly, he had a Kapuka, dancehall vibe.
Bongo Flava Stint
Like fate would have it, in 2015 he joined a group known as Kingstars which majored in Bongo Flava.
However, his stay was short-lived within a years time following the group’s death.
There was something special in Tanzania that saw him relocating there in 2016 for greener pastures.
He was there until 2021 when he decided to come back home.
Since then, he has set his sights on making it big in the entertainment scene through his fusion of Chakacha and Urban Tunes.
Some of his songs are Na Enjoy, Mkari Wange and Bodaboda among others.
