Residents of Muthurua Eastate today took to the streets to protest against the killing of a young man Timothy Wanjala who was shot by an administrative police officer on Sunday night.

The deceased was allegedly shot in Majengo slums while driving a car belonging to a police officer from Shauri Moyo police station called Zacharia Keplagat

The protesters allege that he was on his way dropping off other occupants of the vehicle after droping the officer at his home in South B.

The police shot him after being pulled over by an administrative police who found the police officer’s jacket and chain in the car.

Speaking to Ghetto radio news residents and friends of the deceased are demanding justice for the deceased and explanation as to why the police killed him instead of arresting him.
