Pumwani Nurses are on go slow saying that the government has not provided them with health protective gears and that they are exposed to Corona Virus.
Addressing the media in Pumwani, health workers faulted the government for not telling the truth about what really happens to Nairobi County health facilities.
Ediah Muruli a nurse at the hospital says that Pumwani has received nothing in form Covid 19 protective gears and that they are at risk.
‘‘We are handling pregnant women who are much more vulnerable, part of the the facility is being used as an isolation centre no protective gears here yet Cs Kagwe announced that each facility had them,’’ said Ediah.
Meanwhile the nurses have maintained that they shall not resume duty until they receive protective gears.
The hospital is yet to give an official response over the matter.
