Veteran Jamaican dancehall and reggae singer Queen Ifrica has attacked fellow singer Shenseea following the latter’s unveiling as the face of the new Jamaica 2024 away kit for both the Reggae Boyz and Girlz football teams.
Earlier in the week, Shenseea appeared in a series of promotional videos and photos posing in the new kit designed by global brand, Adidas.
Shenseea was in the company of the Reggae Boyz and Girlz teams. The new kits are in preparation for their upcoming 2024 Copa America games.
Despite many applauding Shenseea for the milestone, Queen Ifrica chanted both Shenseea and Adidas opining that the latter’s Korean routes makes her more Korean than Jamaican.
Queen Ifrica termed Shenseea’s nomination an insult to Jamaican women.
“Dirty Shenseea you can’t be no bloodcl**t face of Jamaican woman outta Jamaica guh suck unu self and gwey. Go do it for Korea or which part you bloodcl**t blood line deh” she ranted in a video posted on Instagram.
Recently, Shenseea revealed about her Korean roots. The singer’s mother is Jamaican while his unknown father is Korean.
Spice Deserved The Nomination
While still ranting over Shenseea’s nomination, Queen Ifrica disclosed that Spice was the right choice as the face of Jamaican women.
“Ah really and truly, if unnu ago gi anybody else face of Jamaica, Adidas, ah Spice you shoulda bloodcl**t make she do it because she ah the truest representative of a Jamaican woman” she explained partly.
However, Shenseea seemed unperturbed by the noise from Queen Ifrica. She shared a video enjoying her travel with Queen Ifrica’s song, Lioness On The Rise banging in the background huh!
