Raila Inspects Kasarani Stadium Ahead Of Azimio La Umoja Event


ODM Leader Raila Odinga today toured the Kasarani Stadium to inspect the progress of preparation of the Azimio La Umoja event set to take place tomorrow.

Raila was flanked by Royal Media Services Chairman SK Macharia and other ODM leaders including Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, Kisii County Governor James Ongwae and Suna East MP Junet Mohamed.

Several leaders among them former Nigerian President Olesugun Obasanjo have already jetted into the country to grace the occasion where Raila is expected to make a major announcement.

Junet has urged Kenyans to turn up in large numbers and grace the event.


“I want to tell Kenyans that we are ready for them, tomorrow is a big day for this country they should come in their large numbers, their big numbers from all over the country and I can tell them that all the finer details have been done,” said Junet.

“Kasarani stadium is ready for take off, the prime minister came today to check what the committee has done and he is happy with all the preparations that have been put in place,” he said.

Mbogi Genje Music team has also confirmed its attendance to the event.
