Wasafi’s Rayvanny, has dropped an Album dubbed-Sound From Africa.
The 2017 winner Bet Awards for Best International African Act Viewers Choice has featured collaboration from artists within the African continent in the album that was dropped yesterday.
Some of the artists featured include Innoss’B from Congo, Joeboy from Ghana, Nasty C from South Africa and Weasel from Uganda.
The Wasafi stable went a notch higher by advertising the album on Times Square, the world’s leading business and tourism center.
It is estimated that putting up an advertisement on times Square for a day attracts huge market shares of about 1.5 million people.
A day’s feature advert on the screens ranges from $5000 to $50,000 and a month’s feature going up to $3 million.
With these figures The Wasafi stable seems to have put in good money in promoting Rayvanny’s Album.
The venture however seems to be already giving some returns as within 24 hrs of release on media platforms it had already surpassed over a million views.
This was good news for the Diamond owned music label as another Signee Zuchu who is barely a year into the music industry was also causing ripples with her new hit, Sukari.
Sukari also set a new record over the weekend with more than one million streams within 24 hours beating also her Boss Diamond Platinumz who had earlier dropped a jam, Shusha featuring Baba Levo.
