Women leaders in Kware, Embakasi Ward have called President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM boss Raila Omollo Odinga to move with speed and resolve issues threatening the Handshake before its too late.
Led by Kware Ward MCA Rose Kula the women claim that the political turmoil that was seen in 2017 was enough to break the country and that the Handshake has brought peace and tolerance amongst different communities.
“We are asking the president and Baba please sit down and iron out what is eating this handshake before some people take advantage and spoil it further,” she said.
They have also drummed up support for BBI urging grassroots leaders to continue sensitizing people before the referendum is held,” they added.
