Deputy President William Ruto’s favourite radio station and show has been revealed.
DP Ruto’s communications Manager and Digital Strategist Dennis Itumbi revealed that Ruto listens to Ghetto Radio 89.5.
To support his statement Itumbi stated that it is out of the DP’s listenership of Ghetto Radio’s Goteana show hosted by DJ Bling and Bonoko, that he heard Bonoko’s appeal for food to take to Githurai.
“Bonoko who runs the Masufferers Foundation, went on Radio on Thursday asking for support in the form of food to go share with street families in Githurai. DP William Ruto who was listening to Ghetto Radio 8.95 as he drove to the gym asked to host him so that he contributes,” wrote Itumbi.
Bonoko was further invited to the DP’s home in Karen together with other artists and entertainers.

From the meeting, he was given a truck of food to take to a children’s home in Githurai.
Ghetto Radio is being hosted by DJ Bling and Bonoko. The duo has hosted the show for more than eight years now turning it into the number one drive show in Nairobi.
Ghetto Radio boss Majimaji scouted the two talents from scratch turning them into radio stars.
