A matatu tout has been put on the spot for beating up a passenger and leaving for the dead at Tea Room bus stop in Nairobi.
Felix Mwingirwa a tout with Unique Shuttle operating on the Meru route allegedly smashed the passenger’s head on the windscreen after he refused to board his matatu leaving him with a cracked skull.
Eyewitnesses say attempts to get medics attend to the young man were futile as Mwingirwa blocked them.

Police say they have arrested Mwingirwa more than three times and arraigned him in court.
“We are in receipt of the case posted below and are following up with OCS Central. The man in question has been charged in court three times with similar offenses, the cases are pending before court,” the police said in a tweet.
“Mwingirwa lives a suspicious life in Zimmerman and confesses to have police protection, a reason for his arrogance and murderous ways,” said one social media user.
