Ghetto Radio Presenter James Kang’ethe popularly known as Bonoko on Saturday received a major boost after Deputy President William Ruto donated to his charity cause.
Bonoko who runs the Ma-Sufferers Foundation, a foundation that supports street children an orphans with food and clothings, was handed the donation by Ruto on Saturday.
Ruto reportedly donated hundreds of bales to support Bonoko’s charity cause.
Ruto’s digital strategist Dennis Itumbi stated that the DP gave the donation after he heard Bonoko’s plea on Radio on his way to the Gym.
“Bonoko who runs the Ma-sufferers Foundation, went on Radio on Thursday asking for support in the form of food to go share with Street Families in Githurai. DP who was listening to Ghetto Radio895 as he drove to the gym asked to host him so that he contributes,” wrote Itumbi.
Bonoko on the other hand thanked Ruto stating that his contribution to his charity cause was overwhelming.
“Ambia Hustler, namtambua, Blessings and we give thanks sana, hatujawahi pata baraka kama hizi,” said Bonoko.
Ruto on Saturday met a number of artists at his home.
This follows rapper Khaligraph’s plea to him to help them with a solution to the lockdown that has seen them suffer.
