Ruto joins Reggae, sets conditions

Deputy President William Ruto seems to have changed tune over his criticism of the Building Bridges Initiative process saying that he is fine with it.

The DP who was speaking during the Mashujaa Day Celebrations however urged President Uhuru Kenyatta and PM Raila Odinga to bring everybody on board.

The DP says that national conversations must be held over BBI to bring everybody on board.

“My friend the former Prime Minister has told us about the reggae which is fine, but i guess we wil have a robust national conversation that will bring everybody on board,” said Ruto.

Earlier on Raila had stated that reggae is back and unstoppable after taking a break due to Covid-19 regulations.

“BBI reggae was launched here, from here, the BBI train moved to Kakamega, all the way to Meru. When we were going to Nakuru, shetani ikaanguka kutoka juu, reggae ikaenda half time. Half time imeisha sasa, nobody can stop reggae,” said Raila.
