Safaricom has unveiled Eliud Kipchoge’s murals at Rupa’s mall in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County. The artistic impressions are in honour and celebration by the telco for Kipchoge’s achievement as one of the greatest marathoner of all time.
“I greatly thank Safaricom for considering making murals of myself here in Eldoret. Indeed, this means a lot to me and it is a great honour and motivation to myself.
It is an inspiration even to the next generation that if you create a positive impact to the society, then people will recognise you,” said Eliud Kipchoge.
Eliud Kipchoge is widely regarded as the greatest marathon runner of all time.
He is the Olympic marathon champion and world record holder with a time of 2:01:09 set at the Berlin Marathon in 2022.
