Gengetone crew Sailors have issued a statement saying they will not be performing at this year’s Naifest concert as had earlier been announced.
In a statement issued on Instagram, the group said they will not be gracing today’s concert at the Ngong Racecourse over a disagreement on matters payment.
The further issued an apology to their fans but promised that they will definitely bring their A-game in the next show they grace.
“It’s with much disappointment we have to make it clear that we won’t be performing at Naifest tomorrow over monetary disagreements with @the_nai_fest event organizers…Mafans wetu mlikuwa mnatu expect sana izeni Jo tupatane Kwa mashow zingine.******Lakini wakifika bei tutamuok” read the statement
Nigerian singer Reekado Banks who landed in the country two days ago is the main act at the event.
