Sakaja Appeals For More Time To Centers Affected By Delays

Sakaja Calls for More Voting Time to Centers Affected by Delays

Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Johnson Sakaja has now called on Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to compensate for the time lost in all polling centers affected by the delays.
According to Sakaja it will be unfair to both the candidates and electorates to close the same time yet some polling centers had massive delays.
“First I want to apologize to those who experienced undue delays all the stations are now on and we want to ask IEBC to ensure time lost is compensated for …those who gave up due to this delay can now vote,” Sakaja said.

Sakaja however, applauded Nairobi electorates for turning out in large number to participate in the electoral process.

“Apart from those hitches am very glad and I want to thank all Nairobians who have voted Secretariat is giving me very impressive numbers,” he added.

“We also want to ask IEBC to help electorates because before voting I had to help an old man who did not know where to cast his votes it is an area that needs improvement,” Sakaja stated.
