‘’Sisi mchana tuliona ma bulldozer ya kaunti ikifika wakafanya demolition na sisi kama ni mambo ya grabbing tunasupport because of the notoriety of land grabbing in Eastleigh estate ,we don’t care whether the property belongs to area MCA or not ,what should prevail is sanity we want to thank the governor for getting this land back to the hospital an we want more to be repossessed.” Ali Hassan area activist told Ghetto Radio News.
In a letter dated 4th January 2023,Chief officer Health Facilities through Zadock Angahya wrote to the county secretary requesting for demolition of the same building in Eastleigh Health Centre.

“She reported that an old building structure in the compound of the Eastleigh Health Centre was demolished over the Christmas holiday allegedly by a team led by Eastleigh Airbase MCA.This was to pave way for the construction of a new building at the same site, which started immediately the old structure was demolished. However the area MCAs’ request to construct an office in the health centre had been dismissed by the County Executive Committee member for health. He cited concern over the smooth running of the sensitive SGHGBV Unit that is adjacent to the site. This is therefore to request for your urgent intervention to remove the illegal structure that is under construction.” Zadock Angahya said in a memo.
