Nairobi County Governor Johnson Sakaja has rubbished claims by his opponents that there is a looming impeachment motion targeting him at the Nairobi County Assembly.
According to Sakaja those are propaganda being peddled by his political enemies.
Speaking in Umoja 3 Primary in Eastlands Sakaja asked Nairobians not to engage in divisive politics but instead focus on development.
“I am the one who started this broad based government most of you did not like it but we can now see how things turned and it has been embraced by the National Government.Mlishika nare but nilikua nimeona mbele that we must work broad based the whole of Kenya together.So forget about the propaganda mara sijui nimetolewa kwa ndege,ndege gani na nilikua na hii function hapa leo.”Sakaja told Umoja residents.
Same were echoed by MCAs present led by Korogocho law maker Abisalom Odhiambo Matach.
“Eti kuna looming impeachment motion where?? We don’t have such motion nor plans to do so…hapa hapana Meru ukitaka kuimpeach gavana enda anza na gavana wenu wa ushago.” Abisalom told the crowd.
Dishi na County Program
The county boss further stated that Dishi na County program has been enrolled in all public schools in the city and that it will now feed all pupils in those schools.
“We have experienced huge growth of school population with this program..so far we have enrolled it one hundred per sent and it will benefit many in schools.” Sakaja. Said.
