Edith Nderitu, wife to renowned Kikuyu musician, Samidoh, has sparked mixed reaction online by publicly showing support for Julie Kabogo a political aspirant running for the same seat as Karen Nyamu.

The mom of two through her Instagram, posted a photo all smiles besides the politician which she captioned “ My senator(Nairobi senator 2022)”. This has caused mixed reactions from the public as the politician is running against Karen Nyamu, who is currently pregnant with Samidoh’s child.

Some of the people pointed out that she was being petty while others rushed to affirm their votes are for Karen Nyamu.

@ damarisnjogu wrote ”Stop being petty n support ur co wife… choose wisely this life no balance

@iam_nimolSa hii ndio unatuonyesha huwa inakuuma, seneta ni mjamo, wakili mwenyewe, Karen nyamu..”

@sheemurage “Co wives should support each other… family interest?” While @ musyoka_musau_posted “ Huyu hawezani na force ya Nyamu wacha aibu ndogo ndogo”

A right to vote for whomever she wants.

“You have the right to support whoever you want .if anyone is unhappy about it aende akapost mwenye ana support Kwa wall yake alaa ,Sisi goat wives  hatupakwi Mashuru alaa this is 2022,” wrote @susankarimi7

Karen Nyamu and Edith Nderitu both have children with Mugithi singer Samidoh in their controversial relationship that has made headlines in the past. Edith’s support of Karen’s rival is however not surprising due to the highly publicized infidelity drama between Karen and her husband.

Although Samidoh has never publicly claimed Karen Nyamu as his wife, there’s speculation the two are in a serious relationship some saying she’s his second wife as the two seem inseparable despite their constantly reoccurring drama not to mention the fact that the aspiring senator is currently pregnant with his child.
