Sang To Run For Governor’s Seat

sangFormer radio journalist Joshua Arap Sang has declared interest in a political office in next year’s General Election, just two days after the International Criminal Court (ICC) Trial Chamber vacated his case.

Speaking at a press conference at a Nairobi Hotel, Sang said that he would run for a gubernatorial or senatorial seat on a Jubilee ticket.

Sang said he will run for the seats in his native Trans Nzoia County saying that he has received support from his fans to vie for a political seat.

Sang added that he has forgiven those who accused him of crimes against humanity during the 2007/08 Post Election Violence including Gatundu MP Moses Kuria.
