Sauti Sol Applauded For Proving Comedian Eric Omondi Wrong

Legendary musician Nameless has applauded Kenyan Band members Sauti Sol for proving to Eric Omondi that Kenyan music is alive.

This is after Sauti Sol had a successful show ‘Sol Fest’ over the weekend at Carnivore grounds in Nairobi.

According to Nameless, the music industry is not yet dead but undergoing an evolution.

 “Meanwhile … Thank you @sautisol for proving that Kenyan Music is very much alive!! Let no one cheat you that the industry is dead, it passes different stages with ups and downs and different waves, this is part of industry evolution..,” wrote Nameless.

He also asked Kenyan musicians to have a different strategy of content to help the music industry grow faster.

“We are evolving as an industry and we are all in the pioneer stage of this Urban Pop industry! That means there will be a lot of challenges, mistakes and learning ,from the different generation that leads to growth and structure formations. If we are more strategic as an industry we will grow faster and sustain better👊🏾.. for now I am just happy for these guys because their work ethic has given them results over the years!! #SolGeneration #SolFest,” he added.

Jamaican star Konshens uploaded them for a great show despite Eric Omondi saying that foreign artists get all the love

“Just really great home grown Kenyan artistes giving a really great show to a really great sold out audience. Salute @sautisol,” Wrote Konshens.
