Scammers are on the prawl using Trio’s name to milk unsuspecting event organizers and upcoming artists of their hard-earned cash through two fake Facebook accounts.
The revelation has been made by Trio’s mother, Irma Sakwa who also doubles up as his manager.
Taking to her Instagram, Irma shared her disappointment noting that she has since been blocked by the said accounts.

She went further and shared the screenshots of the two accounts.
Surprisingly, both of the accounts boast of staggering numbers.
The first one, Trio Mio Official Mkurugenzi Wa Jiji has 165k followers whereas the second account, Trio Mio has 11k followers.
Cumulatively, the first account boasts of 502Million followers with the second one having 2.8Million followers.
“It has come to my attention these two pages are owned the same person. So far he/she has scammed event organizers and upcoming artists on this platform. They’ve blocked me” she asserted partly.
Trio Is Not On Facebook
Irma further revealed that she contacted Facebook over the matter and they’re yet to act accordingly.
While summing up, she disclosed that Trio doesn’t have any Facebook account.
“Facebook isn’t doing anything even after reporting. Beware! My son Trio Mio isn’t on Facebook!!” she summed up partly.
Hardworking Manager
Trio’s mother, Irma Sakwa has so far stood out as a formidable manager.
From managing the young Trio while juggling school and music, Irma has continued to put her best foot forward in seeing Trio succeed after school life.
Recently, while headlining the Safaricom Chapa Dimba edition at Dandora in Nairobi, Trio affirmed that his mother brokered the deal.
Truly, Ms Sakwa was also present emotionally supporting her son. Her other children also came through to offer the much support.

Already, the showpiece moved to Central Kenya and Trio is still in the drivers seat.
