Weeks after his East African trip in Uganda and Kenya, Jamaican dancehall star Garfield Delano Spence popularly known as Konshens has revealed why the East African region seems to have a special place in his heart.

According to the celebrated artist, fans from the region have been showing him undying love and support for the longest time making him reciprocate the act of love shown to him.

“Why i show so much love to East Africa? Because East Africa show me unconditional love for so many years for FREE!! even when i stay away for years, even when im not dropping new music ….its a strange love that should be studied lol🤷🏾‍♂️.” Reads part of Konshens’ long post on the X platform.

In support of the growth of the East African music industry, Konshens also mentioned that he is willing to take part in anything that will boost it.

“Africa is booming, East Africa should be a part of that boom, whatever i can do to help that im down.”

Konshens shows love for the United Kingdom

Besides the love he gets from East Africa, the Bruk Off Yuh Back hitmaker also acknowledged the support shown to him by the UK.

As for his tours and global visits, Konshens has promised to include the UK on his list and that he might pay them a visit soon.

“The next place like that for me is UK🇬🇧, ive never paid any attention to UK, no promo and hardly any shows but they show me madd love always, bruk off yuh back is 💿certified there!!”

He added, “Me aggo pull up soon ovah deh an tun up di grung!! In the west we get so focused on America that we neglect the rest of the world sometimes and thats often where the real love is.”
