Security agencies team up to curb rising insecurity in CBD

Security agencies in Nairobi city have now come together to eradicate an emerging trend of robbery within the CBD.

This weekend alone the police arrested 35 youths engaging in criminal activities within the Central Business District.

According Nairobi Regional Commander Lemparamai the suspects were snatching ladies bags and robbing those withdrawing money from ATMs.

Nairobi police boss Japheth Koome on the other hand has promised stern action against those who will be caught but cautioned Nairobians   to work closely with the police to ensure the perpetrators are arrested and dealt with according to the law.

The security team consist of police from national police service, NEMA and Nairobi County Government Inspectorate team.
