Shaggy And Sean Paul End Long Standing Rivalry, Drop Collabo

0 1,066

The long standing beef between leading Jamaican dancehall Star’s Shaggy and Sean Paul has finally come to an end.

This is after the two dropped a collaborative song ‘Go Down Deh’ featuring fellow Jamaican female artist Spice.

It is a good feel song, with the video shot in a club set up.

The rivalry between the ‘Get busy’ Star and the ‘It wasn’t me’ Singer has always been a healthy competition and not personal as a section of fans have always believed.

In an earlier interview, Sean Paul went ahead and credited Shaggy for his success, it was the latter who first listened to his demo and passed it to Mutabaruka, a conscious reggae DJ who played it on radio.

Both Sean Paul and Shaggy have also shared the same stage together, during Shaggy’s Australian tour.

“Yeah, we do correspond and stuff like that. We have just never gotten to this whole thing where we are gonna work together, cause he was like my rival and I was like to his rival to a lot of people, so there’s always a bit of friendly competition there,” said Shaggy then.

We hope their new song ‘We Go Down Deh’ will set them on higher levels.

It is posted on Spice’s YouTube channel, with two days of release it has already garnered a staggering 433k views and still counting.
