The Nigerian music industry is currently in shock following the mysterious death of another singer, Oladips barely two months after the death of Mohbad.

Oladips death was relayed through Instagram by his management indicating that he breathed his last on Tuesday at 10p.m.

“We are saddened to inform the general public that Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji aka OLADIPS has passed away yesterday November 14, Tuesday evening  at exactly 10:14p.m. We are still in shock as we speak!” read part of the statement.

Family Asks For Privacy

According to the management, Oladips had his battles and kept them to himself for a period of two years.

It added that his body has been handed to the family with funeral arrangements underway for a later date.

The statement further noted that the singer’s family was asking for privacy while mourning the death of their beloved son.

“For over two years he has kept his battles within himself, his body is now withhis family & funeral services will be announced as soon as it is concluded! The family asked that we respect their privacy in this trying time. May God give us all the fortitude to bear this great loss.(amen)” summed up the statement.

Oladips social media has since flooded with condolence messages with many still in disbelief.

Oladips seems to have had a premonition of his death through his song ‘Die Young’ which was released barely a month ago.

Truly, Oladips died young just at the age of 28 when he still had life ahead of him.

The singer had also collaborated with Mohabd in the song, Oja.
