“Kijana mwenyewe anaitwa Francis Mushemi na ako na 24 years, but ako na shida ya mental.alipotea Embaksasi Village date 19th January,” she said in a Phone interview with Ghetto Radio’s Brekko show host Majimaji.

“Date 27th January nikapigiwa simu na mama Fulani akaniambia ako sides za Mutulani ukambani makueni .ilikuwa masaa ya jioni nikaambia huyo mama amtafutie kijana mahali ndio nimuendee asubuhi , nilipompigia kesho yake huyo mama alisema alimuachilia kijana akaenda…nilireport huko makueni na bado hajapatikana,”

Family Conned

The distressed mother says they have encountered a number of challenges in their search for Francis.

She even narrated of how some con artists who alleged to be police officers from Embaksi police station called her promising to help but all was in vain.

She was forced to send them money in order to fuel the police vehicle to get her son who they said was in Kathonani Kitui and were even ready to bring him to Kenyatta national hospital for treatment.

“Hata juzi nilipigiwa simu kutoka hapa Embakasi police station nikaenda but nikama waliopiga walikua watapeli.juu walinitapeli pesa.coz kijana mwenyewe sikumpata. Waliniambia kijana amepatikana Katholani Kitui amepigwa na mob waeke mafuta gari wamulete Kenyatta,”

However, after sending the money, there was no progress in finding her son.

With nowhere else to turn, the family is now relying on the kindness of well-wishers for support.
