Shollei Asks For Support In Her Deputy Speaker Bid


Uasin Gishu Woman Representative Gladys Boss Shollei has called on her colleagues at the National Assembly to support her bid for the Deputy Speaker seat.

Shollei who is being fronted by the Kenya Kwanza Coalition has pledged to work with every member of parliament to deliver an efficient 13th parliament.

“My congratulations to all elected Honourable Members of the National Assembly. I humbly request for your support as I seek the Office of Deputy Speaker. I pledge to work with all to deliver an efficient 13th Parliament. Your support is critical and will be highly appreciated,” she said.

Shollei is set to face, Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo, Homabay MP Opondo Kaluma, Central Imenti MP Moses Kirimi and Farah Yussuf Mohamed of Wajir West.

Shollei is serving her second term at the August House as the MP for Bomet County.

She first vied in 2017 after leaving the Judiciary unceremoniously and clinched the seat which she again retained in 2017.
