Gengetone King Mbogi Genje have weighed in, in the trending conversation of what a star would ask president Uhuru Kenyatta after meeting him for five seconds.
The conversation started after actor Pascal Tokodi received a backlash on social media for asking the president to watch his show Selina.
Asked by Ghetto Radio Presenter Majimaji on what message he would have for the president, Smady Tingz a member of Mbogi Genje stated that he would ask the president for money.
“Tunadai picha ya Kenyatta kwa walenje,” stated Smady.
The group which is a trio Comprising of Guzman, Militan and Smady Tingz further promised their fans to be prepared for more hits.
Mbogi Genje Gengetone Group has been on a steady rise with their new urban master of the Sheng language, releasing hit after hit from Full Degree, Wamocho and Kidungi.
In December last year, they surprised seasoned Boy Band Sauti Sol after they beat them to win the coveted music group of the year award at the Pan African Kisima Award.
