Singer Jaguar Make Music Comeback Drops New Hit
Former Member of Parliament for Starehe Charles Njagua ‘Jaguar’ has made a musical comeback by releasing a new collabo dubbed ‘Nitume’ featuring Ugandan singer Ambassada.
The song which has been released after a long break is a gospel rendition, different from the type of music he does and it is intended to bring people together by promoting peace and love.
The song has since accumulated over 3K views on YouTube with the number going up by the minute.
Jaguar had hoped to retain his seat in Starehe constituency but did not get the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party ticket since Simon Mbugua flew the party flag in the polls instead.
“The people of Starehe were denied their democratic right to go to the ballot again for the nominations and choose their leader. The party decided to carry out opinion polls to decide whom to award the nomination certificate and it has been done,” Jaguar lamented after being denied the party ticket.
Mbugua however did not succeed in the race as he was beat by Jubilee’s Amos Mwago who garnered 50,787 votes against his 35,548 votes in the seat which was hotly contested.
Jaguar has however been active in campaigning for the deputy president who was declared president elect. He even congratulated his party leader referring to him as the perfect example of hard work.
“Your Excellency, you have taught me that hard work pays. We traversed the whole country seeking votes from Kenyans and today we have emerged winners. Congratulations for becoming the 5th President of the Republic of Kenya,” Jaguar wrote on Twitter.
