Singer Loise Kim Joins UDA


The list of entertainers who have declared interest in politics ahead of the 2022 General Elections continues to grow.

Gospel singer, Loise Kim has now joined the UDA movement. Through her social media she announced that she is in the race to become the next Woman Representative for Kiambu County. 

Welcoming her to the party, UDA party leader William Ruto  stated, “Proud to welcome gospel Award-winning musician Loise Kim to the ‘Hustler Nation’. She is an aspirant for the Kiambu Women’s Representative position.”

The veteran Loise Kim is famed for her gospel music .Kim also is an award winning Kenyan gospel musician whose songs are in vernacular ‘kikuyu’. She was introduced to the scene with her hit “mujiari”, She is the winner of a Groove Awards-Female Artiste.

Yesterday, Member of Parliament Hon. Charles Njagua popularly known as Jaguar also joined the UDA movement.

The legislator has been leaning towards President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga’s camp.


“Welcome to UDA – Kazi ni Kazi, Starehe MP, Charles Njagua Kanyi (Jaguar). Hustler Nation welcomes you, Sir,” UDA posted on Twitter

Njagua, a musician by profession, joined politics in 2017 when he trounced politician Maina Kamanda to win Jubilee Party nomination for the Starehe MP seat.

The outcome of the nomination vote held on April 21, 2017, was bitterly disputed by Kamanda but President Uhuru prevailed upon him to the musician.
