Veteran female singer Marya is appealing for financial support amid battling a stroke.
Avril & Kendi Shared Her Plight
Through a post on Instagram that has since gone viral, Avril shared a photo capturing her with fellow singer, Kendi while on a hospital visit with the ailing Marya gesturing in the background in her hospital bed.
Additionally, the pair asserted that they took the photo with Marya’s consent and they were allowed to share.
“Hey fam @officialkendikenya and I went to lift Marya’s @official_maryakenya spirits while she’s in hospital. With her permission we took this photo and we are allowed to share” partly read Avril’s post.
She went further and revealed that Marya has been hospitalized for quite a while now following a stroke attack.
Subsequently, she disclosed that she was due to be discharged soon with further treatment home based.
Furthermore, she asserted that her home care treatment is quite demanding due to the requirements needed in her quest to get back her groove which can only be possible if she’s assisted financially.
Moreover, she gave a glimpse of Marya’s condition which had left her paralyzed on one side.
“She’s been in hospital for little while after suffering a stroke and will be hopefully be discharged soon. But she will unfortunately require a lot of home care as she regains all her motor skills as she is paralyzed on one side of her entire body. She needs our help to set up a care space at her home; hospital bed, wheelchair, ripple mattress, bed liners and much more” further read the post.
