Former Churchill Show comedian Smart Joker is on the brink of becoming a gynecologist in a bid to reduce maternal deaths in Kenya.
Through a recent online engagement, the funnyman revealed that he’s pursuing the course online through the Jawaharlal Nehru University in India.

According to Smart Joker, he decided to pursue gynecology after seeing the plight of women during and after child birth.
“I’m a future gynecologist am pursuing it online university inaitwa Jawaharlal Nehru University iko India ina offer gynecology courses online huko ndio nimekuwa nikistudy very soon I will graduate with my beautiful gown tusonge mbele…You see I’ve seen women going through a lot, they’re suffering and we don’t have enough gynecologists in our country Kenya here and you know India is the best country that can offer you skills za gynecology vizuri” he asserted partly.
Smart Joker further noted that he sought to study the gynecology course after his savings dwindled while pursuing a diploma in broadcast media.

Karataker
Smart Joker further disclosed that he’s taking karate lessons with an aim of representing Kenya at the global stage.
He went ahead and revealed that he started taking karate trainings back in 2015 but opted out.
However, he continued that since 2023 he went back to training specializing in Shotokan for self defense.
The father of three girls further added that he has participated in 4 tournaments where he lost two matches and won 2.
“Nimeenda kwa ring mara nne, nimewin bronze mara mbili na nimeloose mara mbili” he stated partly.
Smart Joker further noted that one of his most challenging moments was during the Coronavirus pandemic where he was almost reduced to a beggar.

However, he noted that the experience offered him life lessons to navigate difficult moments.
