US rapper, actor and entrepreneur Calvin Broadus Jr commonly known as Snoop Dogg has released an emotional song, Rest In Peace Mama, dedicated to his late mother Beverly Tate who passed on barely two days ago.
In the song Snoop cherishes her as the strong woman who brought him up. “if I never told you this let me say this to you by the way, Mama you ma everything, you taught me how to be this way, you never used to lie so I ma walk the Jesus way” Is part of Snoop’s lines in the opening verse. The chorus is also well laid out in a soulful emotional aura and features powerful messages such as “Mama thank you for having me.. I want you to know you are a special lady you’re appreciated”
With 24 hrs from its release, it has already amassed 321 k views and still counting, proving that it might do better as days go by. The video shows Snoop in past happy moments in the company of his late mother during her sunset days. From wheeling her in a wheelchair to the showcase of powerful messages embossed in her pictures mounted on the house walls. ‘Too Blessed To Stressed, Too Anointed to be Disappointed’.

The passing of Snoop’s mother Beverly Tate Broadus Green is being celebrated for her outright championing for a better world to live in. She was not only an accomplished evangelist but also a distinguished author.The books she penned, Real Love and Real Love 11 highlight her struggles as a celebrity mother single handedly raising four sons.
The loss comes barely a week ago after the ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ rapper celebrated his 50th birthday, he was gifted with a convertible car during the occasion.
