Cori Broadus, the 24-year-old daughter of rapper Snoop Dogg, has revealed that she had a stroke Thursday.
“I had a severe stroke this am,” Broadus wrote in an Instagram Story . “I started breaking down crying when they told me.”
In a subsequent story, she added: “Like I’m only 24 what did I do in my past to deserve all of this.”
Broadus, the youngest of the famed rapper’s four children, did not reveal what her doctors told her about the cause of the stroke.
It is unclear what type of stroke Broadus suffered from.

Broadus diagnosed with lupus
In 2021, Broadus reveled in an Instagram post that she had been diagnosed with lupus at 6 years old, something she says ultimately contributed to poor mental health.
” I was overweight. I got lupus at 6, so I was overweight from being on steroids, and that automatically messed with my health … People looked at me like I was an alien,” Broadus said at the time.
Snoop Dogg and wife Shante Taylor Broadus, who have been married since 1997, also share sons Corde, 29, and Cordell, 26. Snoop Dogg also has a son, Julian, 25, with ex-girlfriend Laurie Holmond.
Broadus, who has more than 650,000 followers on Instagram, is also the chief executive of makeup brand Choc Factory Co.
A stroke, sometimes called a brain attack, occurs when something blocks blood supply to part of the brain or when a blood vessel in the brain bursts.
The main symptoms of the condition include , numbness or weakness in the face, arm, or leg; Confusion or trouble speaking or understanding speech; Trouble seeing in one or both eyes.
At the time of publication, Snoop has not publicly shared anything about his daughter’s health scare.
